my two best friends through most of high school, our friendship was more or less based around All Time Low. we’d always hang out in one girl’s basement and because we thought we were so clever and awesome, we’d play six cup with root beer (teenage rebellion, yeah man) on her back porch and ended up nicknaming her basement The Wedge. when she moved, the basement at her new house became the new Wedge. some of the best times I had in high school were in her basement(s?). we’d stay up til sunrise and make stupid jokes and talk about anything that came to mind and talk in stupid accents. those two girls were really the only people I hung out with outside of school for all of high school, and when I think about high school, they’re the first things to pop into my mind. I miss those times, but I guess the past is the past. can’t hold onto it forever, yanno.
