Wow looks like someone needs some sense slapped into them

okay let’s see if i can paraphrase my feelings about people saying things like this, yet again. wato was, is, and will always be a sum of its parts. wato is not one person. each one of them, the current band plus dan, is incredibly talented in their own right. to say that wato without dan isn’t worth their salt is saying that alfie and liam and jack and tom aren’t talented, that they have nothing on which to base a band anymore, and that it a flat-out lie. in a good band, every single member is good at what they do and can pull their weight, and that’s exactly what wato has proven thus far with bleed, the road, and all of the shows they’ve played as a four-piece. sure, they sound different without dan, obviously. sure, their live shows have a different vibe without someone whose sole job is frontman. but none of that detracts from their talent. they still write great music. they still put on a mesmerizing live show. they’re still the same band, just one less.
